1. Information we collect
When you use the NK Izola mobile app, we may collect:
- Account data: your email address and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form and never in plain text.
- Social sign-in data: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your account identifier and the email address associated with that account.
- Push notification data: your device push token and the notification categories you choose, such as matches, news, and academy updates.
- App activity: the players or teams you follow and match reminders you set.
- Order history: if you buy from our online shop, order information supplied by Shopify may be shown in the app.
- Device and technical data: information such as device type, operating system version, and app version, which may be collected by the Apple or Google platform and through error logging.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If this changes, we will update this policy first.
2. How we use your information
- To create, maintain, and authenticate your account.
- To deliver notifications you have selected, including match, news, and academy updates.
- To display your order history.
- To operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only when needed to provide the app:
- Shopify operates our online shop. Product browsing and checkout take place on Shopify, and order data may sync to our systems.
- Google authenticates your identity when you choose Sign in with Google.
- Apple authenticates your identity when you choose Sign in with Apple.
- Expo (EAS) helps deliver push notifications through the Expo push service.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers host the app's backend and database and process data only to provide those services to us.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
4. Data retention and deletion
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. After an account is deleted, we may keep limited information for a reasonable period where required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Order records may also be retained to meet legal and accounting obligations.
You may request deletion through the account settings in the app. If that option is unavailable, email info@breinsports.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
5. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent. Public player rosters are designed to limit information about minors.
Academy registration may take place outside the app on the club's registration system. Any information about minors collected there is handled separately for club administration and should be supplied by, or with the consent of, a parent or guardian.
6. Your rights
If EU data-protection law applies, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; receive a portable copy; restrict or object to certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise a right, email info@breinsports.com. We aim to respond within 30 days, subject to any permitted extension. You may also lodge a complaint with Slovenia's Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec).
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including password hashing, encrypted connections, and access controls. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide an in-app or other prominent notice when a change is material.
